As a breakaway king, Thomas De Gendt managed to steal the hearts of many cycling enthusiasts. His efforts earned him a stage victory in the Vuelta and 2 stages in both the Tour de France and the Giro. Mieke Docx is a Belgian professional cyclist who has been riding for the Lotto Ladies Team for 4 years. Mieke was at the start of both the Vuelta and the Tour de France Femmes for the first time last season. In addition, Mieke has already achieved some nice top 10 finishes such as in Le Samyn, Tour of Guangxi and the GP Fourmies. Mieke also finished in the top 10 several times in the Belgian championships.
In addition to cycling, Mieke likes to keep herself busy with her blog in which she takes readers in tow during her races and cycling experiences. She is also very active on social media with the aim of convincing more women of their love for cycling.
Sep Vanmarcke
Sep Vanmarcke achieved his biggest victory in 2012. In a sprint with three riders, Vanmarcke took the measure of Tom Boonen and Juan Antonio Flecha and thus won the Omloop het Nieuwsblad. In the years that followed, Sep was always a regular in the top 10 of the spring classics. In 2023, Sep unexpectedly had to hang up his bike due to heart problems. Since then, he has been a much sought-after analyst and commentator.
Laurens De Vreese

Bert De Backer
Bert De Backer became a professional cyclist in 2009 with Skil-Shimano (now Team DSM-Firmenich Post NL). He stayed on board with the team until 2017. In 2015, Bert guided his teammate John Degenkolb to victory in Paris-Roubaix. The last years of his cycling career Bert rode for the French B&B Hotels-KTM. Since his cycling retirement, Bert has been working as a cycling analyst and co-commentator. In recent years he has been a well-known influencer, together with Bavo Mortier.
Dirk De Wolf
Dirk De Wolf was a great cycling pro in the 80s and 90s. His biggest victory was in Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 1992. He also collected a mountain of places of honor in major races during his cycling career. After his professional career, he started working as a sports director and is currently a cycling analyst at Extra Time Koers.
Nikolas Maes
Nikolas Maes rode around the cycling peloton as a super domestique for years. He rode for Topsport-Vlaanderen, Quick-Step and Lotto-Soudal, among others. Maes was also there when Tom Boonen won the world title in Madrid in Spain in 2005. After his cycling career, Maes started a new adventure as a sports director at Lotto-Soudal.
